Biography: Ms. Ayzenberg graduated from Rimsky-Korsakova College of Music, Mogilev, Belarus and received the “Diploma o Nepolnom Visshem Obrazovanii”.  She also received a Specialist Diploma in Culture and Education from Kult-Prosvet College of Music, Mogilev, Belarus.  Ms. Ayzenberg has over 20 years of teaching and performance experience and she joined our faculty in 2005.

Biography: Joey has taught and performed extensively on a wide variety of styles ranging from Jazz & Rock to Country & Rudimentary Drumming.  He attended Truett McConnell & Gainesville Colleges for his education, and later taught at the Atlanta Institute of Music.  Joey started teaching at NSM in 2001.

Teacher: Eric Denton

Instruments: Guitar, Bass, and beginner Mandolin

Biography: Eric graduated Atlanta Institute of Music in April of 2002.  His experience includes teaching private lessons to beginner and advanced students in guitar technique and music theory.  He also performs regularly at local venues.  Eric enjoys all styles of music but particularly excels in Rock -N- Roll.

Biography: Matt received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Ed. from Gardner-Webb Univ. and continues his education at UGA. He has extensive experience in working with high school bands, summer music camps and clinics.

Teacher: Debra Hogg

Instruments: Clarinet, Bassoon, & Beginning Flute, Oboe, & Sax

Biography: Ms. Hogg received a Bachelor of Music Ministry from Ozark Christian College.  As a music major, she studied clarinet at Pittsburg State University as well as piano, bassoon, and other woodwinds.  She directs and actively assists with the music at her church including the youth orchestra and woodwind quintet.  Ms. Hogg has taken lessons on multiple instruments since third grade and has performed in numerous community bands and orchestras since seventh grade. 

Teacher: Michelle Hung

Instruments: Bassoon

Biography: Ms. Hung attended Taipei National Univ. of the Arts and Tunthai Univ. in Taiwan and received a degree in Bassoon Performance.  Michelle started performing on the piano at the tender age of 6.  She later began study on Bassoon and excelled to principal chair of various groups that performed extensively in Asia and Europe.

Teacher: Pete Jeffers

Biography: Pete graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music in 1995 with a degree in drums & theory.  He makes learning to play drums fun and efficient by carefully balancing fundamental skills with songs that are fun to play.  Pete believes that with steady practice a beginner drummer could “take the show on the road” after one year of study.

Teacher: Evan Krupa

Biography: Evan received his degree from Atlanta Institute of Music.  He plays with a local band and can be found at local venues.  He teaches all styles but particularly enjoys Jazz & Blues.

Teacher: Lauren Lundberg

Instruments: Voice, Piano

Biography: Lauren graduated Cum Laude from Shorter College with a Bachelor of Music Education.  She is an energetic teacher of both piano and voice who uses positive reinforcement and carefully lays a solid foundation of music theory for each student.

Teacher: Suzana Pavlovic

Instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar, Piano

Biography: Suzana completed her Bachelor degree in Europe, Masters in Cello Performance at Central Michigan University and one year of Doctoral Studies from FSU.  She is currently an active soloist, chamber, orchestral player and private music teacher. Experience includes performances with leading chamber groups, ensembles and orchestras.  She has toured eastern and western Europe, Scandinavia, China, Japan, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Chile, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Mexico, Africa and USA.  She has taught a wide range of levels for a total of over 25 years in Europe and US.

Teacher: César Augusto Restrepo

Instruments: Voice, Singing Lessons

Biography: César received his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Truett McConnell College.  His vast repertoire of musical styles ranges from Jazz & Opera to Praise & Broadway.  César believes that proper vocal technique should be implemented with all singing styles, and then more focus may be applied to tone, dramatic effect and text.

Teacher: Glenn Riches

Instruments: Guitar, Brass, & Woodwinds

Biography: Glenn received his music degrees from London College of Music and from University of Exeter.  He studied primarily guitar and brass; however Glenn frequently performs on sax and clarinet as well.  Glenn has been teaching private lessons for over 15 years and on all styles of music. He always strives to keep lessons lively and enjoyable by implementing fun material and other pieces chosen by the pupil.

Teacher: Tommy Savage

Instruments: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Sax, Trombone

Biography: Tommy has degrees in Music Ed. and Performance with emphasis in oboe and low brass.  He continues his post graduate studies at N. GA. College where he also teaches.   Tommy believes it is important to work toward performance goals and therefore holds recitals throughout the year.

Teacher: Adrienne Walker

Biography: Adrienne received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Spelman College. She has performed and toured with both the Atlanta Opera Company and with the Spelman Glee Club, of which she served as president. She enjoys teaching all ages and believes lessons should be fun and should inspire practice.

Biography: Mr. Ward received a Music Certificate from the Atlanta Institute of Music and has over 8 years of teaching, performing and recording experience.  He joined our faculty in 2004.
