Biography: Mr. Bear can be found on numerous recordings and has toured the east coast as well as Japan with several groups.  He is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a degree in Classical Guitar Performance.

Teacher: Zebulon (Zeb) Bowles

Biography: Zeb’s study of violin in the traditional sense began over 15 years ago and has developed into an extremely vast variety of musical styles.  Though classically trained, Zeb entered the world of improvisation and found a hidden treasure of talents and abilities of which he now desires to share with students of all ages.

Biography: Ms. Camper has a degree in Elementary Education with minors in Art and Music.  In addition to her experience teaching elementary and preschool music, directing children’s choirs, and founding and directing an elementary school band, she has also appeared in the Ft. Lauderdale area as a vocalist and keyboard player.  Ms. Camper teaches private piano, voice, Yamaha group classes and Kindermusik.

Biography: Ms. Charnigo holds a MME in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma and a BM in Piano Pedagogy from Converse College.  She began playing piano at the age of five and has over seven years of teaching experience. Fanchon's energetic and creative teaching emphasizes musicality alongside technique and is effective for all ages and levels.

Biography: Mr. Dickinson received his Master’s degree from DePaul University and his Bachelor’s from UGA in Trumpet Performance. Bill’s motivating teaching philosophy is that students must enjoy playing the trumpet before they can achieve higher goals. His vast experience in performing and teaching equips him with a variety of tools to make this possible with every student.

Biography: Mr. Greer began teaching here in 1990.  Previously Mr. Greer toured for 17 years in the U.S., Europe, and Asia as Founder and Director of the Internationals, a vocal and orchestral ensemble.  He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Music Education.  His students benefit from learning all styles of music with emphasis on classical, using both Suzuki & traditional methods.

Biography: Ms. Ishikawa received her BM in Piano Performance from the Tokyo College of Music and later her MA from Arizona State University.  Ms. Ishikawa is a certified Yamaha instructor and she is also a published composer.  Her students constantly win local and state level competitions.

Biography: Steve received an Associate’s degree in Guitar Performance from St. Leo College.  He tries to find the perfect balance of incorporating scales and theory along with the student’s interests into each lesson.  Steve has taught piano, bass, drums, and guitar.  He also has experience forming ensembles of students into Jazz and Rock bands.

Biography: Matt graduated from Berklee College of Music with degrees in Music Performance.  His teaching experience is vast.  Whilst his degree includes emphasis in saxophone and other woodwinds, he has extensive experience in guitar as well.  Matt’s styles include both classical and jazz.

Biography: Mr. Mai received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Kennesaw State Univ., and then continued his education achieving certification in the Yamaha Music Education System.  He has been teaching and performing professionally for over 9 years.  Mr. Mai believes that rhythm and technique are key in musical development and success.

Biography: Mr. Martin attended Appalachian State and UNC, Asheville where he received a BA in Guitar Performance.  A fixture in the Atlanta music scene, he plays with Kingsized, the Gusto Show, The Roy Owens Jr. and Crooked Fingers.  He has recorded with Crooked Fingers and has toured North America as well as overseas.

Biography: Brian Mitchell is a guitarist and composer with 20 years of teaching experience in most styles of guitar, including classical, rock, blues and folk.  He received the Bachelor and Master of Music degree from Georgia State University.  He has received commissions from The High Museum of Art in Atlanta and Etheridge and Co.  He scored the Cine award winning documentary More Than Words Can Say which received it's premiere at the Brazelton Centre in the U.K.  and has since traveled internationally.  He is currently serving on the faculties of Georgia Perimeter College and University of West Georgia as Instructor of Guitar.

Biography: David joins our team with a degree in Violin Performance from Carnegie Mellon Univ.  He has a vast list of performance experiences both domestically and abroad.  David implements the Suzuki method to younger students as well as music theory, ear training, eurhythmics and music history to all students.

Biography: The author of six books on children’s guitar method, Ms. Parker attended Peabody Conservatory and graduated from Georgia State University with a BM  in Classical Guitar Performance.  She specializes in teaching children as young as three years old a rote method and advances to reading music with finger style playing including singing and chords with various strums.  She enjoys teaching all age groups.  She has been teaching for the past 30+ years.

Biography: Suzana completed her Bachelor degree in Europe, Masters in Cello Performance at Central Michigan University and one year of Doctoral Studies from FSU.  She is currently an active soloist, chamber, orchestral player and private music teacher. Experience includes performances with leading chamber groups, ensembles and orchestras.  She has toured eastern and western Europe, Scandinavia, China, Japan, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Chile, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Mexico, Africa and USA.  She has taught a wide range of levels for a total of over 25 years in Europe and US.

Biography: Kenny graduated from Atlanta Institute of Music in Rock Drumming and has been teaching 5 years. He starts with basic reading and rudimental studies then move to more advanced techniques and styles depending on the student.

Biography: Kevin graduated from Atlanta Institute of Music in Guitar Performance and has been teaching 7 years. He starts with finding out where the students’ interests lie and develops a method that best suits there needs.  Kevin employs various techniques that get students playing quickly.

Biography: Ms. Vapne has extensive studies in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the conservatory Uziar Gedghe Bakov (Baku).  Ms Vapne has been playing piano since age 7 and has over 26 years of teaching experience.

Biography: Kristin Vienneau received a Bachelors of Music from New England Conservatory in Boston, MA.  While pursuing a degree in classical voice, she studied with Carole Haber and Mark St. Laurent, both of whom gave her a wide spectrum of vocal techniques and habits.  Having been trained classically, Kristin teaches classically, though her true talent and passions lie in the Musical Theater and Jazz genres.  Kristin thoroughly enjoys teaching Beginning Piano and Voice at New School of Music.

Biography: Ms. Visscher received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from University of West Georgia where she later continued studies through workshops in Pedagogy and Piano Performance.  She has taught private piano lessons for more than 24 years to a spectrum of students ranging from beginner to college level.  Jennie is a long-term member of MTNA, GMTA, and other festivals and competitions.

Biography: Mr. Ward is a product of the Atlanta Institute of Music and is a graduate from the prestigious guitar musicianship program.  His experience includes teaching, performing and recording.

Biography: Mr. Watson has a BM in Music Education from Valdosta State College and a MM in Flute Performance from the University of Colorado.  He also has extensive teacher training in Suzuki Method including studies at the Talent Education Institute, Matsumoto, Japan with Suzuki Flute School author, Toshio Takahashi.  He has 20+ years teaching experience and performs frequently with the Pandean Players and with guitarist Federico Bonacossa.

Biography: Ms. Woodard received her BM in Violin Performance from Georgia State University.  She is a contracted symphony violinist for several orchestras and has 7 years of teaching experience.

Teacher: Wade Wright

Biography: Ms. Wright has been teaching for AMC/NSM for three years and is a graduate of Sanford University in Music Education.  She completed her Suzuki internship with the AASPA and worked with Dr. Kataoka at the Louisville Institute and the Atlanta Suzuki Workshop.  She has further training under Joan Kyrsinski, Ray Landers, and Elaine Edwards.
