Mr. Chang is sutdying with Ricardo Morales (principal clarinetist of the Philadelphia Orchestra). His past teachers are Yehuda Gilad, Peter Schmidl (principal clarinetist of the Vienna Philharmonic), Donald Montanaro (former associate principal clarinetist of the Philadelphia Orhchestra), Michael Rusinek (principal clarinetist of the Pittsburgh Symphony), Ronald Reuben (former bass clarinetist of the Philadelphia Orchestra) and Mitchell Lurie. Mr. Chang is an active substitute clarinetist of the Philadelphia Orchestra. He has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, and Harrisburg Symphony.
