A
dedicated music educator, Robert is Coordinator of Instruction at a
large private music school in the Dallas area. A veteran teacher with
over nine years of teaching experience, Robert has taught students of
all ages and abilities at the college and pre-college levels. He has
taught courses in Music Appreciation and Functional Piano Skills at
Louisiana State University and served on the faculty of North Central
Texas College where he taught Music Appreciation. While a student at UNT,
Robert was a teaching assistant to Fred Kern.
Shannon received a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Kennesaw State
University in Kennesaw, GA. Shannon has also been teaching students
from six years old to high school level for over 8 years. Shannon
performed in Carnegie Hall with the National Wind Ensemble, and has also
played in groups such as Cobb Symphony Orchestra and Atlanta Wind
Symphony.
