Mr. Bear can be found on numerous recordings and has toured the east coast as well as Japan with several groups. He is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a degree in Classical Guitar Performance.

Lola Cole, Voice, Guitar
Lola Cole studied performing arts, with a focus in voice and stage performance, at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. After returning to Atlanta, Lola has hosted and shared stages with some of Christian Music's and Atlanta's top artist, including JJ Weeks Band, Rend Collective, LeCrae, Black Linen, Ruby Woo, Jimi Cravity and Kari Jobe. Lola continued her training in stage performance and voice with famous coaches, Tom Jackson and Brett Manning. She recently was a main performer at SXSW 2016, in Austin, TX. She is an active solo artist in the Atlanta community and is furthering her education with Berklee School of Music. She is also involved in the teen and college ministries at Passion City Church. She is an energetic, enthusiastic instructor. She believes in giving life to the natural born gift of singing and movement.

Jose Luis De La Cruz, Drums, Percussion
Jose is a classically trained Percussionist with a Master’s degree from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Music. He is well versed in all aspects of Percussion instruments including: Orchestral, Drum set and all types of hand drums, Korean/Latin percussion as well as arranging and composing. Currently he performs in Atlanta while maintaining a private Lesson studio. He has performed with a wide variety of groups including Symphony Orchestras, World music and Jazz groups in the U.S, Caribbean, and Europe

Marina Dmitriyev, Violin
Ms. Dmitriyev has over 30 years of teaching experience with Traditional and Suzuki methods. Her philosophy is that the gift of music is for everyone and strives to bring out the best in her students. She started playing violin and piano at age 5 and received her Violin Performance and Teaching degree at St. Petersburg (Russia). Some of the groups she has performed with include the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Buffalo Opera Company, and Fredonia Chamber Player in addition to other professional and community orchestra.

Patricia Ewing, Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Oboe
Ms. Ewing has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from The University of Georgia and a master’s degree in Clarinet Performance from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She was the principle clarinetist in the Symphonic Orchestra as well as in other groups. She won a concerto competition at GA State and IU. Ms. Ewing has been teaching privately for over 25 years. She currently plays her clarinet in the Atlanta Community Symphonic Orchestra.

Jim Greer, Piano
Mr. Greer began teaching here in 2005. Previously Mr. Greer toured for 17 years in the U.S., Europe, and Asia as Founder and Director of the Internationals, a vocal and orchestral ensemble. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Music Education. His students benefit from learning all styles of music with emphasis on classical, using both Suzuki & traditional methods.

Mr. McConnell was a student of Dave Cobb & Gerald Inskeep, former members of the United States Army Band. He graduated Cum Laude from James Madison University with a major in Music Education. Some of his instructors included Kevin Stees and Gerald West. After serving eight years as an instrumentalist/ soloist with the Army Ground Forces Band, he left active duty to teach in the Dekalb school system but continued his military music service in the 530thAir Force Band which he served as commander/conductor and musician from 1997 till his military retirement in 2013. He has performed for Presidents, Vice Presidents, Governors, Four-Star Generals and appreciative audiences across the nation.

Brad Nelsen is a professional woodwinds teacher and performer native to the Atlanta area. He received his Bachelor's of Music Education from Columbus State University and his Masters in Wind Conducting from the University of Nebraska. He has performed on bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, flute, and oboe in several orchestras, symphonies, wind bands, and musical theatre productions for over a decade. He has taught public school band in Alabama and Arkansas for four years. Brad continues to conduct and perform regularly around Atlanta. He looks forward to working with you to improve your musical skill and your love of all things woodwinds

Richard Ross, Guitar, Piano, Bass Guitar
Mr. Ross is a professional musician and teacher with over 25 years of experience. He taught as an adjunct Professor ofJazz Guitar at Miami-Dade Community College, and also taught as a general music teacher for the Broward Public Schools in south Florida and for the Cobb County DistrictSchools in the Atlanta area. He studied guitar privately for 15years with Vince Bredice. He studied Early Music of theRenaissance period with Joseph Iadone, a disciple of Paul Hindemith, and attended seminars in Jazz Guitar with gendary guitarists Joe DiOrio, Tal Farlow and Jack Wilkins.His philosophy of teaching is to help the student play the music that he or she wants to play and give the student a practical understanding of their instrument and music theory.He teaches the skills that enable the student to apply themselves to all forms of music.

David Schroeder, Double Bass, Bass Guitar, Piano, Guitar
David Graduated from Georgia State University in 2017 with a Bachelors degree in Music Performance and Jazz Studies. His main instruments are electric bass and upright bass, however, he started out his musical journey playing piano and guitar. A freelance musician, David has experience playing around the Atlanta music scene for over 15 years. He's played with singer/songwriters, jazz big bands and small ensembles, Musical theater company’s, and party bands. David has been teaching music for 5 years and teaches piano, guitar, electric bass, double bass, ukulele, banjo, and drums. Its David’s goal as an instructor to make learning fun, easy, and enjoyable since it is usually perceived as something difficult and only a few have the ability to master. He curtails each lesson to the student's needs and understands there is not one way to learn. David’s attention to detail, positive reinforcement, and creative teaching style help kids grow and achieve their musical mastery.

Jennie Visscher, Piano
Ms. Visscher received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from University of West Georgia where she later continued studies through workshops in Pedagogy and Piano Performance. She has taught private piano lessons for more than 24 years to a spectrum of students ranging from beginner to college level. Jennie is a long-term member of MTNA, GMTA, and other festivals and competitions.

Kim Wright, Voice, Piano
Kim Wright is a native of Louisiana, and her childhood musical experiences have been a positive influence on the way she approaches and interacts through music. She has 25 years professional experience as a performing and recording Vocalist, Lyricist and Songwriter. Earning an MMus Vocal Performance degree with Honors from London College of Music, University of West London, Kim has 13 years experience teaching Vocal and Piano lessons to beginner to advanced students, ages 7 to adult. She specializes in teaching Contemporary styles of music; Jazz, Pop, R&B, Rock, Gospel, and Folk. Kim tailors her teaching methods to suit a student’s individual strengths, helping students build confidence and a sense of well-being through the use of music. She has sung as lead and/or background Vocalist, nationally and internationally, in several Jazz, R&B, and Rock bands featured at festivals, clubs, theaters, cruises, workshops, and private and corporate events touring the USA, Europe, UK, and Zimbabwe including Atlanta Jazz Festival and Intwasa Arts Fest Zimbabwe, as well as perfoming/presenting at music clinics. Her original soul/rock/jazz band, Days Ahead, released their debut cd, Turning Point, to glowing reviews and award nominations. Steve Wright, Guitar
Steve studied Jazz and Rock guitar privately with Sid Wolfe at the Atlanta Institute of Music, graduating with Honors in Guitar Performance. Steve then went on to further study Jazz Guitar at The University of North Texas, and earned an MMus Performance (Guitar) degree, with Honors, from London College of Music, University of West London. With 23 years professional working experience as an electric and acoustic guitarist, Steve’s professional career includes freelancing as lead guitarist, recording and touring with the likes of many jazz, pop, and gospel artists; Mike Phillips, Cee-Lo Green and Dottie Peoples to name a few. He is a performer, songwriter, producer as well as musical director; and has released his debut cd with his original soul/rock/jazz band, Days Ahead, to great reviews and continual radio-play. Steve has over 18 years experience teaching private and group guitar lessons to students ages 8 and up from beginners to pro players.
