Brian Cook, Trumpet, French Horn, Baritone, Trombone, Tuba, & Beginner Sax & Clarinet


Brian Cook received a Bachelors in Trumpet Performance from the University of North Florida and a Masters in Conducting from Appalachian State University. He has been an music educator for 15 years and a performer for over 30. Brian marched with DCI powerhouse Suncoast Sound and worked with band greats Robert W. Smith, Frank Williams and Larry Clark. He and his wife Renee have lived in Commerce for 7 years.

Lauren Larkin, Piano


A Gwinnett County native, Lauren graduated cum laude from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors in Music Education and studied voice and piano at Shorter College. She has taught in both classroom and private studio environments. Lauren has sung in many professional choral groups and in solo roles around the Atlanta area. She is energetic and believes in making learning fun and rewarding. Lauren is knowledgeable in Music Theory; Audition Techniques; Aural Skills; Classical piano technique; and Classical, Jazz, and Musical Theater vocal techniques.

George Marlow, Guitar


George received his degree from the Atlanta Institute of Music in 2001. He has performed with many local and national acts on guitar and bass. He has recorded with multiple Grammy Winning producers in The Studio and continues his experience as a session and live performance player. He is a firm believer in musical diversity and a strict regiment of proper technique and practice for every growing musician.

Dr. Gregory Pritchard, Saxophone, Bassoon (all levels). Clarinet, Flute and Violin. (intermediate) Conducting (high school or above).


Gregory Pritchard holds a Woodwind Specialist Masters Degree and Doctorate in Orchestral Conducting from Michigan State University. He has taught woodwinds at Georgia State University, University of Evansville (IN), and Hope College (MI). He is the Associate Director of the International Conductor's Workshop in Macon and Principal Guest Conductor of the Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. He has also taught orchestra in Gwinnett Co. Schools for twelve years.

César Augusto Restrepo, Voice, Singing Lessons


César received his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Truett McConnell College. His vast repertoire of musical styles ranges from Jazz & Opera to Praise & Broadway. César believes that proper vocal technique should be implemented with all singing styles, and then more focus may be applied to tone, dramatic effect and text.
