Christine Lansou began playing the violin and viola 40 years ago in Louisiana. She studied Music Education at Loyola University of New Orleans where she earned her BME. After graduation, she taught at St. Mark Catholic School in Chalmette LA where she built the first orchestra program in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. She moved to Atlanta in 2000 and worked for Gwinnett County Public Schools for 19 years as the orchestra director at North Gwinnett High School. She Earned her Master of Music Education from Georgia State in 2008. Christine has years of experience preparing students for Allstate, Honors Orchestras, MYSO, and Emory auditions as well as entrance to college music programs. She customizes a mix of many methodologies to fit the individual student’s needs and goals.
