Allison Collier is a soprano born and raised in Atlanta. She holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Education from the University of Georgia where she studied voice with Dr. Stephanie Tingler and will earn a Masters in Music Education in July 2024. She has taught middle school choir for 4 years in Gwinnett County Public Schools and teaches voice, piano, and guitar.
Allison sang in the UGA Hodgson Singers 2016-2019, and during that time, she performed Mozart’s Requiem, Johnson’s Considering Matthew Shepherd, Likhuta’s Scraps from a Madman’s Diary, and a joint concert with The King’s Singers. Allison currently sings with the Gwinnett Symphony Chorus and Chamber Singers. She is most passionate about teaching students to have a well-rounded understanding of music and music reading and helping them find confidence in their abilities.
